The GPI electrified monorail system 240 is the versatile standard electrified monorail system for medium and heavy loads.
It is recommended wherever the System 180 reaches its load capacity reserves, but the expense of a special heavy-duty system is not justified: in the connection of medium-sized production and assembly lines, in the transport of goods for efficient storage and retrieval, in the order picking of medium-weight goods and in mechanical and plant engineering, where load capacity reserves are required but extreme payloads are not necessary.

Suspension: Height-adjustable rail hangers at intervals of 2-3 m
Vehicles: Robust welded trolley and running gear body, enclosing rail on one side
Energy supply: Conductor rails or inductive power and data transmission at the side of the rail
Control: Separate vehicle control unit as add-on part, with standard absolute measuring system on request
