The GPI electrified monorail system 300 has been developed for transport tasks where maximum load capacity, extreme load reserves and long-term operational reliability do not tolerate any compromises.

It is recommended wherever maximum load capacity, high operational reliability and permanent load-bearing capacity are paramount: in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry when transporting heavy bodies and assemblies, in mechanical engineering when handling large-format workpieces, in steel and heavy industry when transporting heavy coils, sheets or cast parts, as well as in logistics centres with extreme weight requirements.

Technical specification

  • Load capacity: Depending on the project, up to 16,000 kg, based on HEA 300 steel support rails, significantly higher than aluminium profile rail systems

  • Rail: HEA 300 steel beam (wide flange beam), web height 290 mm, flange width 300 mm - standardised rolled profile to DIN EN 10025

  • Spans: Due to the high bending stiffness of the HEA 300 profile, large beam spacings can be realised - project-specific according to static calculation

  • Suspension: Customised supporting structure, designed specifically for the project and statically verified

  • Vehicles: Welded heavy-duty travelling and trolley body, designed for continuous operation under maximum load

  • Load handling attachment: Developed on a project-specific basis, also with integrated lift, slewing gear or other special functions as required
